Safe Keys Housing CIC

What we do

Support that helps people feel at home.

Safe Keys Housing combines safe supported accommodation with practical, person-centred help. We support adults leaving care, survivors of domestic abuse, people experiencing homelessness and those rebuilding after the justice system — giving each person the stability, skills and confidence to move forward.

Safe supported accommodation

Our furnished, shared and self-contained homes give residents a safe, stable base from day one. Each property is managed by our team, with secure entry, regular maintenance and clear house agreements so everyone can feel settled.

From the moment someone moves in we help them set up their home, register with local services and understand their tenancy, so they can build the routines that make a house feel like a home.

Key work & personalised support

Every resident has a named key worker who meets with them regularly. Together they agree a support plan based on the person’s own goals — whether that is managing money, improving health, reconnecting with family or preparing to move on.

Support is trauma-informed and flexible. We understand that progress is not always a straight line, and we stay alongside people through setbacks as well as successes.

  • Support plans and risk assessments reviewed together
  • Budgeting, cooking and independent living skills

Advocacy & partnerships

We help residents navigate the systems that can feel overwhelming — benefits, health services, probation, social care and the courts. Where it helps, we go to appointments with them and speak up on their behalf.

We work closely with local authorities, domestic abuse services, drug and alcohol teams, mental health services and employment programmes, so residents can access specialist help as well as a safe home.

  • Accompanied appointments and advocacy
  • Links to education, training and volunteering
  • Planned move-on to independent housing
